Pedestrian Bridge
Client: City of Calgary
Location: Calgary, AB
Lead Contractor: Bova Steel
Steel Erection: Bova Steel
The Shaganappi pedestrian bridge required a multitude of NDE & NDT services. Inspections conducted include material review, fit-up inspection, weld visual inspection, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing as well as structural steel inspection as per CSA S16 & bolt torqueing.
Pipe Modules
Location: Athabasca, AB
CIC Inspection & Consulting Ltd. provided supplementary NDT inspections for piping spools and modules in Athabasca, AB. Service required was Phased Array Ultrasonics, Radiography, MPI & LPI, Visual, Hardness testing and Positive Material Identification. In addition there was a need for QA/QC support.
RCMP Station

This project included the inspection of structural steel and steel decking for a new RCMP facility in Elk Point, AB, including fabrication inspection, visual and magnetic particle inspection of field welds and visual inspection of bolting as applicable to the governing standards for structural integrity and safety..

This is an ongoing, complex multi-phase project in which the owner is renovating several areas of the downtown Edmonton City Centre shopping centre and office space along with many areas of new construction.

This project includes the inspection of structural steel and steel decking for the new Grande Prairie 7-12 School Project in Grande Prairie, AB, including fabrication inspection, visual and magnetic particle inspection of field welds and visual inspection of bolting as applicable to the governing
